CHILL transforms over two million pounds of sparkling ice into larger-than-life, hand-carved colorful ice sculptures in the 13,000 square-foot Igloo called The Ice Kingdom, located inside the Queen Mary’s Dome, formerly home to the legendary Spruce Goose. The Ice Kingdom featured a California holiday theme complete with breaking waves, dancing dolphins and a Surfing Santa. There is a life size candy cane forest, a penguin village and three ice slides off of a 30’ high replica of The Queen Mary's bow.

Universal Studios Hollywood
Today I took my brother to Universal Studios Hollywood for his birthday. The day before we went we had a huge storm. I think that caused a lot of people to stay home because we were getting through lines super fast. I'm not sure if it was because it was my brother's birthday or what but we had people that worked at the park giving us free front of the line passes. All and all a really fun day.

#YouTubeRewind 2014 IS HERE!!!
It's time to pause, rewind and remember the videos, people and events that defined YouTube in 2014. The 2014 YouTube Rewind was just posted, and it's amazing! The video features some of the year’s biggest trends (Ice Bucket Challenge, Frozen) and YouTube’s biggest stars. Hell, MOST of YouTube’s biggest stars. It would be impossible to name them all because there are SO MANY, but The Vlogbrothers, Rhett and Link, Tyler Oakley, iJustine, Freddie Wong, Hannah Hart, Grace Helbig, and plenty plenty more pop up. Even TV stars like Stephen Colbert, Conan O’Brien, and John Oliver pay their respects to YouTube.

Jingle Boobs with Sara X Mills!
JINGLE BOOBS! I mean, we all saw this one coming, right?!
Our favorite boob dancer, Sara X Mills, is here with bells on. Literally.
First she did some Mozart, then she showed us the strength in her glutes, and now we welcome her back just in time for the holidays.

Santa Barbara Street Parade
In the early 1950’s, a tradition began to decorate State Street with 40 foot tall Douglas fir Christmas trees during the holidays. These trees actually lined the center divider lines of what used to be a four lane street. Sponsored then by the Retail Merchants Association, the Chamber of Commerce and the Parks and Recreation Department, the trees were officially dedicated and lit during the Children’s Christmas Parade by the Christmas Fairy. The Children’s Christmas Parade is now known as the Downtown Holiday Parade and is held annually, one week after Thanksgiving.
The parade, now in its 62nd year, has since evolved into Santa Barbara’s only nighttime street parade. After 31 years of Saturday morning debuts, the parade returned to the Friday evening tradition in 1998. This year’s tradition takes place on Friday, December 5th officially welcoming the holiday season downtown!

Zoella Takes A Break From YouTube?!
Zoe Sugg, aka Zoella, has announced that she is taking a few days away from the internet following confirmation that her bestselling novel was ghostwritten.
In a recent statement, her publisher Penguin told The Sunday Times,
Because of all the heat that’s been coming her way, Zoella this morning posted some shocking tweets.
Sugg, who suffers from anxiety, has taken breaks from her YouTube channel in past. Here she is talking about a previous incident:
Now while it’s not explicitly stated, it’s fair to assume this might be due to the ghost writing controversy. On Sunday, the 24-year-old uploaded this message to Twitter as a response to reports of her use of a ghostwriter.
UPDATE
Sugg returned to Twitter on Monday evening to criticise coverage of her announcement about spending a few days offline.
Deyes also hit out at those suggesting he had quit YouTube.
While it’s not uncommon for people who aren’t authors to use ghost writers, it can be disappointing to hear your favorite YouTube star didn’t actually write her book. The revelation provoked a debate over the use of ghostwriters and to what degree celebrities should acknowledge any help they may have received.“To be factually accurate, you would need to say Zoe Sugg did not write the book Girl Online on her own… As publishers our role is, and always has been, to find the very best talent and help them tell their story and connect them with readers… For her first novel, Girl Online, Zoe has worked with an expert editorial team to help her bring to life her characters and experiences in a heartwarming and compelling story.”
Because of all the heat that’s been coming her way, Zoella this morning posted some shocking tweets.
Bare with me on vlogmas. I'm taking a few days out and off the internet because it's clouding up my brain. Thanks for understanding ❤️
— Zoë (@ZozeeBo) December 8, 2014
This was tweeted within the same minute of a tweet from her boyfriend, Alfie Deyes.
Just to let you know :) Zoë and I are going to take a few days out of daily vlogging to have some time to our selves x

Author Siobhan Curham is believed to be one of those who helped Sugg write the bestselling novel after being named in the acknowledgements. On Sunday she was thanking people on Twitter who were offering their support.
@NicoleBurstein thank you so much - very much appreciated right now x

Here's the New Trailer for Terminator: Genisys
Here is the first, long look at the brand-new Terminator Genisys movie. Take a look at new face of Sarah Connor, a new John Connor and new Kyle Reese, but the Terminator remains the same. The whole thing reminds me of the Star Trek reboot. Parallel timeline, younger actors and one old actor from the original. So they're trying to mimic the success of that reboot, remains to be seen whether it will work.
Honestly, this trailer is much, much, better than I anticipated. It hits all the marks for a Terminator movie: An implied massive action scene, a robot with a gun, sepia-toned future worlds, vague but important speeches about saving humanity, Terminator hands, and the classic, "Come with me if you want to live" line. So yeah, we're all good here.

What do you think? Is it worth seeing or do you think the plot just gets more and more muddled?

Let's build something
The Home Depot offers free workshops for do-it-yourselfers of all ages. On the first Saturday of each month, Home Depot’s FREE Kids Workshops offer fun and useful projects like building toolboxes, fire trucks and mail organizers, birdhouses, Mother’s Day gifts, or any number of other cool projects.
The workshops are great for 5- to 12-year-olds, and they teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety and at the same time they help to instill a sense of accomplishment. If your little builder is under 5, that’s fine, too, but you’ll need to provide a little more supervision. We see parents getting into the fun, too, no matter the age of the participants. The workshops create quality, one-on-one fun time between you and your children or nieces, nephews. The workshops are great for scouts troops, neighborhood organizations and Sunday school classes as well!
In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates’ aprons, and an achievement pin.

If George Lucas directed Star Wars: Episode VII
What would that glorious The Force Awakens trailer look like if George Lucas went back and fiddled with it? Probably something like this... The "George Lucas' Special Edition" parody version of the new Star Wars trailer pokes fun at the director's missteps in the series prequels.
(Joking aside, George Lucas does have a pretty big role in the development of Star Wars VII. While he’s neither directing nor writing the movie, the story concept is his and he was on set as a creative consultant.)
What do you think of the parody edition?
Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens Official Teaser
It’s not much—in fact, it might feel like the shortest 88 seconds of your life—but the first trailer for director J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens is finally here! J.J. gave us a lot of black screens in this trailer but he also gave us some awesomeness! They weren’t kidding when they called it a “teaser.”
Just watch it and let me know what you think.

Alex From Target?
A lot of you may have heard of Alex From Target. Whether you saw him on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook, or all four, he definitely blew up. And fast. He went from a normal Target worker to being on Ellen overnight!
Alex Lee was a normal Target employee who worked at a Target store in Dallas, Texas, until Brooklyn Reiff posted a photo of him on Twitter that blew up because he is good looking. It goes to show how far looks can go, doesn’t it?
What do you think of all of this? Look good and work at Target to get famous? Use social media to your advantage? Post a picture of a good looking guy to get them on Ellen?
— b (@brooklynjreiff) October 26, 2014
The most ironic part of the whole thing? Brooklyn has said in interviews that she doesn’t even find Alex to be particularly good looking. The original tweet got over 4,000 retweets, and it just went downhill from there!
People started putting Alex all over the Internet by reposting the photo on social media. Some even created hilarious parodies of the original picture and posting them all over the web as well.
Target’s Twitter has announced their support for Alex and dispelled rumors that his popularity online might have cost him his job.
